Before installation, check the integrity of the components, ensuring no tools or debris remain inside. Apply grease or engine oil to the mating surfaces to prevent rust. During installation, ensure the main shaft is horizontal and that the clearance between the air inlet and impeller meets requirements. Measure the concentricity of the main shaft and motor shaft, and the non-parallelism of the coupling end faces; the non-parallelism tolerance between the two shafts is 0.05mm. When installing the damper, ensure the air inlet direction is consistent with the impeller rotation direction.
When installing the inlet and outlet ducts, do not apply additional weight to the casing; the ducts should have independent supports. Trial operation must be started under no-load conditions, gradually opening the valves to the specified operating conditions. After installation, manually rotate the rotor to check for flexibility and friction.
Electrical wiring must specify whether the motor voltage is 220V or 380V. When wiring a single-speed fan, use a Y-connection for motors with a power of 3kW or less, and a Δ-connection for motors with a power of 3kW or more. When wiring a dual-speed fan, the stator winding should be connected in a Δ/YY (or Y/YY) configuration. At low speed, terminal #1 should be energized and terminal #2 should be left unenergized. At high speed, terminal #1 should be connected in series and terminal #2 should be energized. Incorrect wiring is strictly prohibited. The circuit breakers, protection devices, and other electrical components in the control box must be selected appropriately according to the fan's rated capacity.
